🐾 Welcome to our Kennel
Kennel Swechamps is Sweden's first and largest breeder of SKK-registered (FCI) East European Shepherds (VEO). We've been actively breeding this impressive and versatile working dog for over seven years, and have over a decade of experience with the breed.
Our connection to the German Shepherd runs even deeper, as the breed has been part of our lives for over 15 years and in our family since Isabella was a child. In 2023, we expanded into small-scale German Shepherd breeding, aiming to produce mentally stable, healthy dogs primarily for service and competition.

🌲 Our Environment
Our kennel is based in scenic Skyttorp, just outside Uppsala. We benefit from the best of both worlds: peaceful countryside with forests and fields, yet close enough to the city for regular urban socialization. The dogs are raised in a calm, enriched environment and are frequently brought into Uppsala to experience trains, city life, and obedience training in public areas—experiences we consider essential for growing puppies and young dogs.
This combination of rural freedom and structured social exposure lays the groundwork for balanced, confident individuals. We hope our puppies will continue this development in their new homes.
🐶 When Puppies Leave Us
When a puppy goes to its new home, it is:
- At least 8 weeks old
- Registered with the Swedish Kennel Club (SKK - FCI)
- Microchipped
- Vaccinated
- Dewormed
- Covered by a 3-year insurance for hidden faults
We are fully equipped to facilitate puppy export within Europe. All required paperwork is arranged by us, and the puppy will receive an official export pedigree to ensure proper registration in the destination country.
🧠 Early Stimulation & Research-Based Rearing
We place great importance on tailored socialization during the early weeks—based on each puppy's individual tolerance. They are introduced to everyday elements such as vacuum cleaners, children, cats, and common household sounds. They also get used to nail trimming and accompany us to the vet for ID marking and vaccination.
We stay current with the latest canine research and continuously work to optimize conditions for healthy development. For example, we've improved our whelping box and pen surfaces to prevent hip dysplasia, a risk increased by slippery flooring according to the latest studies.
We also apply Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS)—a U.S. military-developed method to enhance stress tolerance, learning ability, and physical development in future military working dogs.

🎁 What Each Puppy Goes Home With
- A starter pack including collar, leash, and familiar food
- A blanket carrying the scent of their mother and littermates
- A breed-specific puppy folder with feeding advice, social training tips, and other essential information
- Lifelong support from us
🤝 Staying in Touch
We encourage puppy owners to:
- Perform HD/ED X-rays around 12 months
- Complete a mental description (MH) test between 18–24 months
We prefer active homes that understand what it means to live with and stimulate this kind of dog. Whether your goals are training, competition, or service work, what matters most is that each dog gets a committed and meaningful life.
Finally, we deeply care about every individual we raise. We love receiving updates—photos, stories, and milestones throughout the dog's life.
